Though there is a huge population of people over the age 55 loving this sports but in the recent trends we have seen that pickleball is getting rapid popularity among youngsters.

According to a recent survey by sports and fitness industry association there are more than 3.5 million people in the United States that love playing pickleball. In these 3.5 million pickleball lovers you will find formal pickleball players and players playing pickleball for fun. The casual pickleball players play 1 to 10 times in a year where as the core pickleball players play this game more than 15 times a year.

In past 5 years the casual pickleball players under the age of 55 what 25% which grew to 36% and the core pickleball players under the age of 55 versus 78% and they grew to 84%. We can say that with the passage of time this game is getting more popular among the youngsters as compared to the seniors. But it does not mean that it is not a senior game it definitely is. But this game needs more strength and movement as compared to other racket games.

Many of us knew that pickleball was a senior sport and large quantity of people pickleball was over the age of 55 but now pickleball is gaining its popularity in other age groups as well. So no matter if you are a junior or senior this enthusiastic and quick racket sports pickleball is all yours.
