Service Line vs Non Volley Zone:
You might find its range and mention that the dimensions of a badminton court and pickleball court are the same and yes them really is.
Both of them are 20 * 44 feet. But let me tell you one thing that the net lines and the service lines are different. The service line for badminton is 6.5 feet away from the centre of the net whereas for pickleball non volley zone is 7 feet away from the net.
You might find it a very tiny difference but this difference can be a big hurdle for the game while you play.
If you are playing an informal game then you can use these dimensions but if you are playing a formal game then you really need pickleball dimensions and a pickleball court.
This difference of 0.5 feet can create a big difference in the game of pickleball and you always know that the kitchen zone is the zone that makes your pickleball game more adventurous.
Difference of the nets:
I would like to tell you that the length of the pickleball and badminton court nets are the same but the height is different.
The height of the net in badminton is 5 feet whereas in pickleball it is 34 inches high in the middle.
If you are playing informally then this height won’t matter, but if you are playing a formal game then this height is not suitable.

It is easier and comfortable to play on hard surfaces if you are playing pickleball and badminton court always offers you a hard surface.
Badminton requires special badminton shoes for the game but if you are wearing the right shoes then you can definitely use a badminton court as a pickleball court. But you should know that you cannot use badminton shoes for pickleball tournament games.
