Like all other stories about different sports, pickleball were originated on a bright sunny day when there was nothing to do for a family.
Two dads name will bell and Joel, in 1965 on Bainbridge island Washington, invented this game. Their families were getting bored and have nothing to do for passing the time.
But in 1970 the pickleball from backyard activity turned into legitimate Sports nationwide. In 1975 an observer made the piece of pickleball drawing and spotlighted it in the public.
By 1976 a tennis magazine published an article about pickleball as America’s newest racquet Sports.
It is when pickle ball gained popularity and incorporated as a proper Game Hub with the demands of nets, balls, paddles, and other gears. Pickleball has gained popularity in all age groups.
The average age of pickleball players is 43.5 years old. But you will find all the age groups taking interest and becoming professional players of pickleball.

Another reason why pickleball is so popular is because there is no limit of wages to play this sport. The court of pickleball is small so the players don’t have to move a lot that is why it is more popular in older people.
Many retired and adults play this game because it is fun and they don’t have to move around like tennis.
It is common in youngsters as well because the court is small so they have more focus on the ball and their hand which makes you feel like playing ping pong.

It is a good way to become social. Many cities have introduced the pickleball League where different tournaments are set.
Many people have a chance to sign up for these tournaments and get opportunity to meet different people with same interest.
- Easy to learn:
Tennis can be difficult for many people to learn because of the height of the fence and hitting the ball. But pickleball is easy because the ball has more swing and the service is down cause of court size and the paddles.
- Affordable Sports:
One of the reasons of the popularity of pickleball is that it has become very affordable. The ball cost only 25 to 35 dollars and the higher end paddle cost ranges within 60 dollar.
The size of the court is very small so it is very easy to find a pickleball court in your surroundings.
